Starting a new career comes with questions. Here are answers to some of the most common topics prospective students ask about home inspector training and licensing in New Jersey.

Most students complete their required classroom training in 5–10 weeks, depending on the schedule they choose. Training can be completed through LIVE online WebCast classes or in person at campus locations.

In addition to classroom education, students must complete 40 hours of supervised field inspection training, which Inspection21 provides as part of the program.

New Jersey requires 140 hours of approved classroom education and 40 hours of supervised field inspection training to qualify for a home inspector license.
