NJ Home Inspector Licensing Path

Night-Owl Express® allows working adults to progress toward a New Jersey home inspector license while maintaining daytime employment.

Regardless of schedule format, New Jersey requires the same core steps for licensing:

  • Education: Complete 140 hours of approved home inspector training.
  • Field training: Participate in 40 hours of supervised field inspections.
  • Exam + insurance: Pass the National Home Inspector Examination (NHIE) and maintain required E&O coverage.

Night-Owl Express® simply organizes this training curriculum into an evening schedule that fits around daytime work.
