Who Contractor Express® Home Inspector Training Is For

NJ Licensing Requirements

In New Jersey, home inspector licensure is tied to training, supervised field experience, and testing. Most students follow the approved education pathway:

  • Education: Complete 140 hours of approved training.
  • Field training: Complete 40 hours of supervised field inspections (provided through the program).
  • Exam + insurance: Pass the NHIE and maintain required E&O coverage.
